On June 29, LEUCO Ledermann GmbH & Co. KG was honored with a "German Brand Award" at a ceremonial gala in the German Historical Museum in Berlin. This award is given by the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute for successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication.

"We are very proud to receive this prestigious award for the second time in a row after 2016", emphasizes LEUCO Marketing Manager Wolfgang Maier. For many years, the Horb precision tool manufacturer has been attaching great importance to a consistent corporate design in its national and international brand management. This includes the areas of organization, products, distribution, advertising and communication. "In this spirit, a uniform and strong brand identity, reflecting the company's values ​​and objectives, is guaranteed in 20 subsidiaries all over the world. The German Brand Award is the best proof of our strategy's success", adds Maier.

The German Brand Award was initiated by the German Design Council, which was founded in 1953 by the German Bundestag and donated by the Federation of German Industries. The German Brand Institute aims to strengthen the importance of the brand as a decisive success factor for companies in the national and international competitive environment. The award is given for brands with a clear concept that allows the company to be set apart from the masses.

Every year, the German Brand Award honors sustainable brand concepts and brand designers. The award is always based on a previous nomination by the interdisciplinary jury of companies, science, consulting, services and agencies. The prize is awarded in three competition categories. In the “Industry Excellence in Branding” category where LEUCO is represented, an award is given for the best product and company brands within an industry segment.
